The foundation
In 2027, the Fondation Québécoise de l’Épilepsie will officially launch its philanthropic activities with a clear ambition: to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people living with epilepsy and their loved ones. Epilepsy affects thousands of Quebecers; yet, the condition remains poorly understood and often clouded by stigma. The Foundation aims to help change this reality by raising awareness, shining a light on the challenges faced by those living with epilepsy, and giving a voice to those who experience it every day. Through philanthropy and meaningful initiatives, the Foundation will support concrete projects in research, awareness, and the provision of guidance and support for people living with epilepsy and their families.

Our philanthropic ambition
Establish a research grant to support the progress of knowledge and contribute to improving treatments and quality of life;
Provide camp opportunities for young people living with epilepsy, enabling them to enjoy safe, adapted experiences that foster a sense of belonging and community;
Provide direct support to the Association Québécoise de l’Épilepsie to help develop resources, support systems, and services for individuals living with epilepsy and their loved ones.
Launch public awareness campaigns to reduce stigma, help people recognize epilepsy, and shed light on the realities faced by those affected;
Develop awareness tools to increase knowledge about epilepsy and promote a better understanding of the condition;
Thank you to our partners who make a real difference.
